My husband has graciously offered to help us ladies build our businesses by posting twice a month on SEO (search engine optimization), Internet marketing, email campaigns, etc. He has over 15 years of design experience with print, Internet/multimedia, publishing, web design, web marketing, outdoor advertising, trade show design, and broadcast. Steven has had many articles published in the Business Journal and has been the recipient of 3 PICA Awards (Printing Industry of the Carolinas) and one Gutenberg Award of Excellence. Can you tell I'm proud of my husband???
He's asking all of us to tell him what questions you have about increasing your sales based on his expertise. He wants to make sure that what he posts about is what you loyal readers want to know. Instead of just randomly picking a subject out of the air and you be bored out of your mind because it doesn't pertain to you. He's nice like that. So start commenting. No question is too silly. If you want to know or need advice just ask.
Note: Coming in a day or so our very first Product Review. So stay tuned!

Yes! Yes! Yes! a hundred times over, Yes! I would love to be featured. I would just say to give me a week so I can get my website to where I want it to be. I'm trying to make it easier for customers to purchase an item and then change their fabric choice if they choose to.
Just let me know what you need from me. I really appreciate it!
Sarah
P.S. Since your hubby is a whiz, what is SEO exactly? Is it just making your website search engine friendly?
I would love to read anything that he has to offer. My biggest problem is finding places to advertise/market my products and website. Most message boards and even craigslist makes it very hard for businesses to post ads and some won't allow a sig link.
So, any info he can offer on getting more sales would be great!
Am coming your way from the MomPack . . .
I would love to know about SEO . . . I'm ignorant about it, but want to know what key things to do (without paying for the service) to boost our website up to the top of searches!
How nice of you Steven!!
I would like him to post on the MOST important thing we can do to draw traffic to our sites...the hottest places to advertise, too, for a wahm on a shoestring budget. Also, if he would post neat things that we can ADD to our sites (forms, widgets, etc.) that would make our site more user-friendly. Also, the "biggest mistakes" newbie wahm sites do and how to AVOID doing it. Stuff like that :)
Thank you!

I know a little about SEO and internet marketing as well as the importance of doing social networking as well as social bookmarking. If your husband wants some help from me I would be glad to offer what tips and tricks I know as well.
Thanks so much for offering this to us! I would be really interested in learning how to find great vendors of art and craft supplies. I have researched so many but would like to know how each rate againtst each other, such as quality of product, price, customer satisfaction, etc. Any info. would be a great help!
All the above suggestions would be super helpful too!
Thanks!
Tiff, that is so great your hubby is willing to help us all by offering his insight! I would like to know the truth about linking. I have heard that the more one-way links the better but I have also heard that one-way links are useless unless a website has a ranking of 5 or above. Some free directories to post link (like DMOZ) would be helpful as well
